don't forget that the Ariel leads like QED reference models can cause drop outs for those that live in marginal areas of the country

I myself have just upgraded my lead and cant any longer get my hd channels from crystal palace but the channels i do receive which is all of them are in a much superior quality my Ariel lead being part made of silver

Hi John
If this happens just now and then it probably isn't a problem but if it continues and your Aerial is over ten years then your best bet would be to replace it

Simon the top price to pay is around £300 the materials are only around £100 and two hours of labour

what you have to remember Simon is that this type of work is nothing special to a professional just basic stuff at the end of the day

they earn a very good living at £100 per hour which on a basic install takes one hour with £50 max trade price for the hardware so anyone who wants more then £100 per hour should be avoided

Thanks Brian. I'm on London CP and living in crawley with a loft aerial and a mains booster and have always had no problems bar the digital changeover so fingers crossed it stays that way
