I have just got a Bush Digibox for a TV in my kitchen. I have installed it and it picks up the BBC channels but none of the ITV or C4. The T.V in the lounge is already digital and free veiw and it picks up all the channels and is on the same aerial.

Dave: I would start by checking the cable between the existing working TV and the kitchen, it seems quite possible it has sustained some damage and may need replacement.

Is it me, am I doing something wrong (probbably) or is the HD service from Emley Moor not broadcasting? Have tried manual and Automatic tuning on Polaroid TV, Logik TV and Humax Recorder and none of them will pick up HD chanels.

Martin: Although its not impossible for a problem to be presently in existence at the transmitter, are you positive that the devices mentioned are actually capable of HD reception? that meaning they are equipped with DVB-T2 tuners.

What model of Humax box are you referring to?

Loges: You are indicated as being located at only 4 miles away from the high powered Emley Moor transmitter so in theory the signal should be very strong even if using a set top aerial, however going by what you have said about the past I suggest that for a test you try and borrow a Freeview box, coupling it into your TV via a scart lead, and should you not be able to borrow a set top aerial then even a short piece of wire (about 12") pushed into the inner part of the aerial socket on the box should be suffice for reception in your circumstances.

Hi. I'm having reception problems with 5*, 5+1 and ITV3, and I'm going to assume with the other channels on the SDN multiplex. A couple of weeks ago, it was barely noticeable. Now, it's dreadful and often cuts out completely. I'm in Oxford. I also only moved in two months ago, so I don't know whether this is a new problem. Can you advise me? Thanks.

HI, Postcode YO19 6SY picking up from Emley Moor. I've two Humax freeview (9300t & FOX T2) boxes which have lost BBC HD channels. I've tried to tune them to channel 41 but both state no channels found. I'm picking up BBC 1 Yorkshire / Calendar Yorkshire fine etc just the HD channels seem to be missing. Can you advise please? Thanks
