brian: The Oxford transmitter underwent various frequency changes early yesterday morning. You will need to retune.

Hi all,
Question regarding recent Rowridge changes.
I had a Band A aerial, upgraded to a T band aerial Medium gain aerial in April to bring back the moved channels.
I bought this aerial.
20 Element Yagi Medium Gain UHF TV Aerial Group T 8944467390996 | eBay

However, the signal is now blocky/sometimes not even there.
Will upgrading my aerial (rooftop) again to a high gain make a difference?
PO36 0NX is my address and from the roof, i can see the rowridge antenna so its lined up perfectly.

Stuart Turrell: If you're only a few miles away and can see the transmitter then you certainly don't need a high gain aerial. Which channels are breaking and what signal strength and quality readings do you get for them?

When we had the recent digital changeover I lost a number of stations. As we are in an estate which has a communal aerial the property management company had to get an engineer in to upgrade the system. I understand he put a new aerial in, but even after that some channels were still not available (including BBC News HD). He came back today, and I believe installed a 'booster'.

Now everything seems to have come back, except I have 'lost' the red button service on BBC News HD and London Live no longer seems to be there. The red button is working on BBC1 / 2 HD and also on BBC News SD.

What should I do? Is it worth retuning again (I fear I may loose some more channels!)

London Live was working after the first installation.

I live in NW9 5LQ

Martin R: Retuning won't make any difference if the channels are already tuned. Do you get anything reported for signal strength/quality when you select London Live?

StevensOnln1: The channel is just not there! I remember once losing all my Red Button services, and it was a retune that brought them back !

Martin R: Have you tried manual tuning on UHF channel 35? Does it report any signal strength/quality if you wait a few seconds after entering/selecting C35 before you press OK/scan?

Sorry I don't know how to manually tune . I view through a YouView box, and it just says 'scan' (or stop!).
