Map of all DAB transmitters

You can click on a transmitter group symbol to see all the masts in that county or area, or click on a single transmitter to see the coverage area. Due to the large number of radio transmitters, many have been grouped into counties or administrative areas for ease of viewing.

My DAB reception in central Hertford has just been significantly reduced to all but local stations. No more BBC radio. :-(

Have a dab radio in Jersey worked perfectly until just over a week ago. Has anything changed recently in transmitting? Any assistance would be appreciated.

I have a similar problem. I have 4 DAB radios and they all lost all the BBC stations (which are on the same multiplex) but all other multiplexes are working. I live in SW7.

I cannot find anything about service problems despite many internet searches.

dab reception is now dreadful/unusable in car when driving around chesham, bucks. It's fine around High Wycombe though and used to be OK in Chesham. This has to be local transmitter problem, when will it be fixed???

Can anyone recommend a decent external DAB aerial? Is there any way (other than trial and error) to locate the aerial where the signal is strongest? Thank you.

Hi Glyn
If you know what transmitter you receive from in your area then a beam style aerial which can be found on eBay for under £20 is best. To find this out check out the map! Then you check out which direction that transmitter is from your location and point your aerial towards it

It would be useful if we could set this map to show other areas, please. I'm shortly moving to Trowbridge, Wiltshire and know there is supposedly a DAB service from 'Westwood' but can't tell what the reception will be like as not shown on this map based around Luton.
Thanks

I've found the page you refer to.

I don't understand the references to Medway and Kent, Trowbridge is the County Town of Wiltshire!

Sadly the mapping shows a DAB transmitter in central Bath but there is a huge hill between there and Trowbridge so we are unlikely to get much in the way of DAB signals it seems. I prefer FM anyway, sounds much better on decent equipment.
