@Briantist: Could you confirm that Arfon is transmitting BBC, BBC1, ITV and S4C channels in HD please? I'm unable to get any of these and I'm not sure why not...
Thanks in advance, Martyn

Martyn: Yes, as above. You must have a Freeview HD (DVB-T2) receiver to see them, of course.

@Briantist. Thank you for the quick reply!
I thought my TV (40" Sony KDL-40BX400) was sorted but, when feeding it directly from a terrestrial aerial, it looks like it's just HD ready.
I'm using a Linux box to feed it now, but the terrestrial card I use (Nova T-500) is only SD. Surprisingly (and very pleasingly) my satellite card (Nova-S, allegedly only DVB-S) picks up HD (DVB-S2) just fine, so I can receive HD from that for the time being.
Looks like I'll have to wait a while until DVB-T2 cards start coming out.
Thanks again, best regards, Martyn

Martyn: There are a number of DVB-T2 cards out there now, but I'm not sure if any of them has a Linux driver.
