I use the Kings Weston transmitter, and, despite previously receiving near perfect picture quality and strength, all of a sudden reception of all channels except on the BBC1 multiplex is dreadful and they are more or less unwatchable.

Any idea what's happened and what can be done?

PS I've tried a retune but, although I've now picked up ITV2+1 on 27 (it's a dreadful picture) nothing else has changed and all I can watch is the BBC multiplex

Nothing at all has changed my end. Previously I had brilliant signal strength and quality, yet now all the channels bar the BBC1 multiplex keep dropping out. The aerial is in the loft but did previously give perfect performance, something drastic has changed my reception but everything my end is exactly the same.

JSmith: You might want to consider moving the aerial to the roof, where it can have a clear line-of-sight to the transmitter, to stop this kind of thing happening.

Hi
I have had a new TV with a HD digital receiver built in for several months and it has worked fine in the last few week I am have and am sill getting some bad channels (poor or no signal). We have tried a re-tune but this didn't help, has there been a change in transmissions that may be affecting us. We live in the BS10 7RA area so come under the Bristol Kings Weston/Mendip transmitters.
Any thoughts Regards Mike Hooper
