Dumb Blonde: Looking at the manual for that TV, it doesn't list DVB-T2, the new system that the UK is using for Freeview HD broadcasts. The design may be slightly too old - the decision to use the new system was only taken in late 2007, the specification wasn't ready until mid-2008 and multiple prototype receivers were first shown in September 2009.

When buying new equipment, check for a 'Freeview HD' logo. This ensures that the TV, set-top box or recorder supports DVB-T2, the MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 compression scheme, and the encoded Service Information used by Freeview HD broadcasts.

IanH: You now need a wideband aerial to receive all the multiplexes from the Bromsgrove transmitter.

I had a v sucessful switchover on the bromsgrove transmitter in april but after 28th Sept I had probelms. I rang the helpline and they said do a factory reset as Bromsgrove was being updated so I did then lost somefreeview channels Channel 10, 16 and 5 usa so I did a manual reset to search for channels and got most except the group 41 which have all disappeared. I cannot understand why I have had all the channels working since april including HD but now have lost some.any ideas folks?
