Steve:

I presume you mean the HD channels on the BBCB/PSB3 multiplex ie. BBC1,2,ITV,Ch4,Ch5 HD etc. as you are unlikely to get any HD channels from the COMs 7 & 8 multiplexes from any transmitters.
Is the problem continuing or has it cleared up now?

You should have no problems with reception from the Bromsgrove transmitter, there are currently no faults or engineering but there was some last month as you can see from posts before yours.

If you are getting your signals from Bromsgrove, your aerial should have the rods vertical and be pointing a fraction N or NW (321deg.), but I note that there is predicted reception at your location from the Wrekin transmitter which requires an aerial with rods horizontal pointing at 318deg. at your location, which uses the SAME UHF channels for the PSB multiplexes !!!
It can happen that signals have their polarisation altered by atmospheric and other conditions by the time they reach a receiving aerial so interference might be possible, but I would have expected you to see issues with other SD channels as well. I also think it's not very likely unless your aerial has moved or is not positioned precisely. Just have a look at it and check.

If however you are getting your signals from Sutton Coldfield, aerial horizontal pointing roughly NNE (27deg.) then there is some Planned Engineering with "Possible weak signal".

Previous post should have read "your aerial should have the rods vertical and be pointing a fraction N OF NW (321deg.)", not N or NW !
