Retuned 4 TV's - none showing channels in MUX2 are present - will they reappear on 18th?

Anne: The signal levels may need adjusting for digital - they could now be too strong. Talk to your landlord or agent, and check with your neighbours to see if they have the same problem.

Ed: Strong signals on one channel can desensitise the receiver, making it less able to see weaker signals on adjacent channels. Mux 2 is directly adjacent to the high-power BBC A. If you have an amplifier or booster, try removing it. If not, try adding an attenuator. If you're using a communal system, get them to check the levels and adjust the system.

My old OnDigital box can't retune/find any of the channels on the new BBCA MUX and shows 0% signal on Ch23.

Deeply confused!

If using TVSchedulerPro (used to be WebSchedulerPro) then will have to update the stationlist.dat to add the new mux to the Crystal Palace list (or do a manual retune and specify the frequency for C23).
I updated mine like this:
(look for the 2nd reference to Crystal Palace in the stationlist.dat file in the TVSchedulerPro "data" directory)

station.1.57.8.name=C23
station.1.57.8.freq=490000
station.1.57.8.band=8

station.1.57.9.name=C26
station.1.57.9.freq=514000
station.1.57.9.band=8

station.1.57.10.name=C30
station.1.57.10.freq=546000
station.1.57.10.band=8

station.1.57.11.name=C33
station.1.57.11.freq=560000
station.1.57.11.band=8

station.1.57.12.name=C35
station.1.57.12.freq=586000
station.1.57.12.band=8

station.1.57.13.name=C36
station.1.57.13.freq=594000
station.1.57.13.band=8

I added in the full post-DSO list.

(some might need the +/- 166/167 offsets - depending on their TV card - but I don't know the right offsets for them).

Roger Wright: Sadly, the Ondigital boxes do not support the 8k mode (as used from today with DSO stage 1 on Mux BBCA), so in two weeks time will not pick up any channels at all from Crystal Palace.

Roger Wright. Sorry, but your ONDigital box has come to the end of its useful life, except for monitoring pictures/sound from games machines or DVD boxes. The new Freeview signals use 8K mode carriers, and some old equipment using 2K mode cannot cope with the change. You will need to replace your box. Look for something with the Freeview Tick.

My pocket freeview tv now works on its built in rod aerial here in hertfordshire but only on BBCA, wandered around with it with only a small break up in signal.
