Dave: In Germany the COM muxes are normally only available in urban areas. Belgium only transmits PSB channels on DTT. The commercial services are all on cable.

Dave: The best option for anyone to take should they be able to accommodate a dish, is to go for Freesat, as not only does the Freeview light issue never crop up but reception is virtually guaranteed to be glitch free for 99.9% of the time year in year out, and anytime its not only being for about 5 minutes or so max during a very heavy thundery type downpour.

b38 Yes I have freesat but there are at least 6 channels on Freeview which do not show on freesat, I want it all :)

Is anyone watching from Patcham I wonder ? I can't imagine many if any really being just a basic 'lite' service

Not a very punchy signal either compared to analogue :(

There are homes in the valley areas that cannot receive signals direct from Whitehawk Hill.

And yes, the power levels are very low.
