hi i live in Mk and over the past month or so a message has been going across the screen that we will lose the analog signal on the 28th nov now have no tv told i need an Ariel i refuse to pay £150.00 average cost to have an Ariel put up. can anyone recommend a good Ariel i can purchase and put up myself. i already have bracket and hole in wall from the sky installation that i previously had .

jayne: For terrestrial reception you will probably need to direct an aerial to Sandy Heath transmitter which is slightly anti-clockwise of east. Your satellite dish will be directed a bit anti-clockwise of south.
If you have a satellite dish then this can be used for Freesat, so you might be better off buying a box for it.

Hi I have a indoor aerial and my normal TV channels are fine but the HD ones are poor only 10% signal . I have one for all indoor aerial

trio: View the signal strength screen whilst on one of the HD services and ensure it is tuned to UHF channel 21 (474MHz). If it's not then it's not tuned to the Sandy Heath transmitter.

have lost all BBC Channels tonight from the Sandy Heath transmitter Lakenheath area
using mast head amp with dist, system any one else having this prodlum.
All working ok yesterday.

hi , have had intermittent problems with freeview for the past few days....constant low signal showing....have followed advice on here, have re-tuned twice and no improvement...in fact worse today, i haven't been able to watch any tv today? mk2 2hu...aerial is on the roof.

This is getting beyond a joke. Every time there is a large high pressure system over the near continent I lose reception. It happened in the summer & it's happening again now - no signal on 95% channels, the rest drift in & out.
Freeview is beginning to look like a bad joke. Is there nothing I can do, or do I just have to wait?

Lost most channels today in Cambs. Bad weather the cause? Still got BBC1,2,News & Sky News but signal down to 40%. Any advise?
