john: There are recent notices of engineering work for Weymouth so it's probably related to that. Don't attempt to retune, just wait and transmission should resume within the next few hours.

StevensOnln1: Any idea when everything will be working again as our freeview hasn't worked since this morning. Other friends in the Weymouth area are saying theirs is still down aswell.

Hayley Galliott: The transmitter engineering post above yours shows that the transmitter came back on at 11:40 this morning. Did you attempt to retune when it went off earlier? If you did, that would have deleted all your channels so you'll need to retune again. If you haven't retuned so far today then don't, as your TV/box will already be correctly tuned and retuning whilst not receiving a signal would delete your channels.

Freeview HD and Film4+1 channels disappeared. The affected channels showed 'Service has stopped' message on TV and not 'No signal detected' which tells me it's not a problem at my end. After a re-tune I have 37 working channels, but HD and Film4+1 channels are now missing.

Wayne Webb: No signal detected means that you aren't receiving a signal, which most likely is because of a problem at your end. Check all the cables and connections behind your TV for anything loose or damaged. If you provide a postcode we can see what the signal strength should be at your location and offer further advice.

I have lost my signal through my aerial. I have checked my other 2 sets and they are saying the same. Aerial looks ok on the roof.
