@Briantist - Yeah Im aware Freeview HD is transmitted after switchover; my query was more to do with whether my current set-up that picks up SD Freeview is likely to be sufficient in terms of signal strength or whether I will need to change or boost my aerial.

Hi, Im in Cheltenham and top floor of 3 storey flats - using an indoor aerial in a direct line of sight to the Ridge Hill transmitter.
I get perfect Freeview with full signal strength and quality on all channels. Bearing this in mind, am I likely to have any issues receiving Freeview HD in April (don't want to pay out for a decoder unnecessarily!)
