im an oap in uppingham rutland we get our signal from waltham buts its very weak barely a signal got a freeview engineer out to sort it out he struggled to find a signal even after fitting a new outdoor ariel he said the problems widespread in my town i just want to watch tv & the amount i have spent getting ready for freeview now comes to £300 for new tv & £180 for ariel engineer £480 in total the end result is ive got 14 tv & radio channels 3 shopping channels 1 gay dating site 3 adult channels cbbc cbeebies more 4 thats about it im going to refuse to pay my license if i cant receive any channels whats the point

i live in uppingham rutland & depending on where you live in the town dictates wether you can recieve freeview or not i can only get half the channels my father gets even tho he only lives 500 yards away got a freeview engineer out new ariel & £180 lighter he said the signal was the weakest hes seen on the 13th of april we had to retune & the signal has been drastically worse since its not just me the whole towns affected my great aunt is concerned living at the bottom of a hill she can barely receive anolouge or digital despite upgrading we dont know what to do round here
