Freeview reception has changed? | Freeview Interference

For 4 yrs had faultless Freeview reception, my postcode is BN15 0QP.

For approx 2 weeks the reception has been very bad, lots of pixellation, TV says sig strength 90%, sig quality 0%, worse on BBC1, BBC2 and BBC News24. My equipments has not changed and neither has the landscape.

Father 3 miles away at postcode BN14 9LT has same problem.

Anyone know what had changed or is going on? (BN15 0QP)

I should add to the above that both properties have aerials pointing to Whitehawk and have not had issues in the past. We both started having the issues around the same time so can't be our own equipment.

After over 4 yrs of faultless Freeview reception, I too have been having the same issues with Mux 1 (BBC1 BBC2 etc) in Sompting postcode BN15 and my father in Worthing postcode BN14.

It seems a lot of us are having the same issue, who did the engineering work, who can we contact?

The problems with poor signal from Whitehawk continue both for me in Sompting BN15 and my father in Worthing BN14. I see over at Freeview on Whitehawk Hill TV transmitter | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice other people in the Whitehawk area are complaining about the same issue and saying it started after the engineering works.

Who did the engineering works and who can we contact as the problem would seem widespread with reports of the same issue from Sompting, Worthing and Brighton?.

Brain: Hi Brian, I think there is a slight misunderstanding.

There was apparently some engineering work on Whitehawk in October and there was a message saying there might be disruptions during it. That work is now long since over but a lot of us seem to be having problems with Mux1 since the engineering work. Prior to this engineering work all had been fine for a number of years.

Those of us having these post engineering work issues with Whitehawk are in Sompting, Worthing and Brighton so quite a wide area. Just therefore wondering who would have carried out the work in October on Whitehawk so we can contact them as it seems reception has been worse since the work was undertaken. Do you know who please? Thanks.
