MJ - If you have any amplifiers try without them. Signals can be TOO strong.

Do you have more than one set/ariel? If so, all same or various?

What do neighbours experience?

When did you ask? I thought it was supposed to start on Weds 20/4?

You might check with the local TV shops?

Or the Spar/C&C?

John - the Wolfbane predictor should show how significant height is.

But in terms of wobble, 10ft is three times as wobbly as 6ft.

JonF - try a cheap booster amp. But don't tell Brian - he does not like them!

Just to confuse things; I (Steve) certainly can't get Freeview coz. I have no tuner and I think ordinary tuners will not list HD channels at all?

And the postcode shown earlier is not mine but that of a recent poster who lives nearby, but in the deep narrow Dee Valley. He already knows that databases are unreliable - his actual number+postcode is unlisted!

Now changed to my own.

... Freeview HD coverage checker

Costa - I don't have HD kit but the link above says it is there.

Did they say it should be there but wasn't working, or that it was not supposed to be on yet?

BRIAN - have you seen this? (LL145HD)

Gary - you WERE using digital previously? Not just analogue, I presume?

And the DVD has its own freeview tuner? Check that on Brian's list too.

MO'P in addition to what Brian has said, I think there are two stages involved
A- identifying that a particular service channel is on a particular mux on a particular broadcast channel
B- receiving that channel

Until you retuned your system knew to look for Film4 on Mux whatever on Channel whatever

After you retuned it did not know it should be there

Costa - Do Digital UK now say you SHOULD be getting a HD signal?

It may be related to where you live and whether you get the main Wrekin or a relay.
