I have just noticed that the BilsdaleTransmitter coverage stretches right down from where I live in Hartlepool down to York, but The Woolmoor transmitter does not cover half the distance coming back.
I wanted to receive BBC Radio York FM from the Woolmoor transmitter. But the signal, compared with the National BBC radio stations on the same mast, is quite nullified and not able to stretch up here.
Is this something to do with licensing problems or something?

Hi there,
I have just noticed that the Bilsdale Transmitter coverage stretches right down from where I live in Hartlepool down to York, but The Woolmoor transmitter does not cover half the distance coming back.
I wanted to receive BBC Radio York FM from the Woolmoor transmitter. But the signal, compared with the National BBC radio stations on the same mast, is quite nullified and not able to stretch up here.
Is this something to do with licensing problems or something?
Many thanks
