Have a normal TV working with a free view digibox using simple internal aerial. Worked fine then bought a new LCD TV with freeview built in and barely picks up the signal and only BBC if that.
Also if connect the old freeview box to the new LCD TV this is exactly the same.
Reconnect old TV and digi box and ok again
