Um, I dont mean my reception - I have a 1 week old new HDTV, pulls in channels my old Sony PVR cannot see.. :)
I mean this web page.. Apologies, if this is not under your control...:)
above, under the heading
"Freeview transmissions on Crystal Palace
Mux Effective power level Rating Mode Watts"
GOLD should be in Mux 3 (chan 32), along with 'home', TV X' , 'ESPN', and no sign in my EPG of 'teachers TV', 'super casino', 'direct gov' - these could be regional or 'planned' though..
and the listing for 'B' starts "0 Community, 0 BBCi 302, 9 BBC Four "... you see why I ask..
Not all bad news :) most other sites I have used think there are only 6 Muxes, and get all the names of them wrong, so yours is actually much more informative with freq, location, reports. :) .

Mike Crane: if you are still wondering about this from 2008, I think I know, to help others...

The fact that you can see the channel that the TV was on, when you switch to your digibox- It seems there is a problem with badly screened cables..

(Briantist: and no clue yet!! ) to continue..

these can behave just like a transmitter, for sensitive modern TVs to pick up the signal from inside your TV, your neighbors TV ... this is what you see, ghosted on top of the proper signal!..

I helped a friend once, with bad reception.. he said, just change the AE plug... when I stripped the cable back, I saw the 'screen' was ONE thin wire!!!! It only cost me a pound for 5m, he said... :P

I know many scarts do not have 'over all screen', too..

some TVs also OUTPUT on their scart, causing more probs!

erm, The original post was about ghosting!!!

Oh, and also note, if you are not using a HDMI, the output to your TV is NOT digital, it is analogue - the lack of screening will pick up the radiated video from the rest, giving the ghost!

oh dear... can you SEE the the listing for 'B' Mux???

it says "0 Community, 0 BBCi 302, 9 BBC Four "

it SHOULD say "87 Community, 302 BBCi 302, 9 BBC Four "

If you cannot, this 'clog' is abit pointless, and should be made a totally separate section...

It amazes me that no-one reads ALL of posts...
