How to Watch: GREAT! tv +1

Below is a list of all the television and radio channels that you can watch in the UK using one of the free services: DAB (for radio), Freeview, Sky No Card - Sky without a viewing card (Freesat from Sky (or fSfS)) and Freesat.. Where a channel can be watched for free, the channel number is listed below. In addition, if you can watch (or listen) immediately online, press the button in the "web" column.

As some channels are exclusive to one service alone, you may need to get receive more than one service to get all the channels you want. The coverage for Freeview differs too - those channels not provided by the public service "Freeview Light" transmitters the current coverage shown thus (54%), taken from Connected Nations Report 2017: Data analysis'

GREAT! tv +1 channel is not working it says data service then lists live only.

Why does this channel not work like a normal +1 channel?

Most likely because this, like some (not all) other +1 , only broadcast limited hours of the day (this one 3am-5am IIRC).

Yesterday+1, ITVBe+1 and ITV3+1, Great Moivies+1, & Great Christmas+1 - all time share space (on other multiplexes).

Jac: Great! TV +1 is available across most of from the main on Freeview 62. If you can receive Quest on Freeview channel 12 (carried on the same COM6 ) then a retune should give you Great! TV +! on 62. If that doesn't work, please provide a full postcode so that we can see the predicted at your location.

Hi
I get the Great TV main channels but Great TV+1 just shows a blue screen saying 'Data Only' although programmes are shown on the guide. Is there a reason for this?
Great TV Movies Extra and Christmas Extra also do not have any programmes shown on the guide.

I'm in Northern and when I select Great TV+1 all I get is a blank (black) screen. BT43 7NT.

This is because of the way that the broadcaster (Narrative Entertainment UK Limited) has set up Great TV+1 and the EPG for it and the other two channels.

GreatTV+1 only "broadcasts" for 2hrs at 3am in the morning on the ArqB/COM6 . The "data only" eventually comes up with a Slate which says "A new service will be launching here shortly." Whether they intend to eventually stream the service outside broadcast hours, I don't know.

Great! Movies Extra si a streamed service outside it's broadcast hours of 0400-0600.
Great Christmas Mix is a streamed service outside it's broadcast hours of 0300-0500
Unless your TV is a Smart TV connected to the Internet you will not see any programmes.
Both do have an EPG for their broadcast hours.
