From Wikipedia: The channel had been available from launch on UPC Ireland, but was pulled on 22 March 2006. The channel had already been and remains available to Irish viewers on free-to-air satellite for some time, however it has not been listed in the Sky electronic programme guide since its removal on 25 January 2006. R.E.Bigwood: Nothing has changed as far as the programme guide numbers for ITV3 and ITV2 are concerned, with ITV3 being on guide list 10 and ITV2 on 6. If the problem still exists then carry out a "manufacturers reset" on your box (or TV) prior to retuning same, man / reset also being known as "default setting" or "first time installation".

By the way, knowledge of your location would have been of assistance, this preferably being in the form of a post code or one from nearby such as a shop / post office, as this info would enable access to details of the transmitter that covers your area

I don't see the point in this site, you can't watch any tv here. There is no Watch Now feature.

I have a problem with ITV3+1 Freeview channel 34. When I select this channel, the program plays normally for about 30 seconds and then the picture is replaced by a caption saying Programs Will Start at 6pm. The sound continues normally. If I select another channel and then return to 34, the same thing happens i.e. picture and sound OK, then picture replaced by caption. What goes on ?

Dick Budgen: To my understanding, ITV3+1 on Freeview is only a part time channel due to it time sharing with other broadcasters, the fact of it only broadcasting from 18.00hrs to 00.00hrs being a great source of annoyance to anyone who happens to have set their recorder to record any programme that finishes after this time, as it simply cuts off.

Its always best to record whatever on (10) ITV3 to avoid this problem.

By the way, this restriction only applies to reception via Freeview, and not Freesat or Sky.

I am absoluly discussed ,I was watching A place of execution on free view. The second part came on and at 12 04 A M you took the channel off air I do not see the point in this action not this early anyway. If it is being aired on paid channels ie Sky , Virgin it is very unfair and feel very discriminated by this action we all can not afford these paid channels.

It would be better to directly contact the channel who were broadcasting that programme. This website is not connected with any broadcaster and is aimed at helping with reception problems primarily.

Last night, I wanted to watch Midsomer Murders on ITV3, but missed the beginning by 35 minutes. I thought I would record it on my recorder from ITV3+1, but that channel was not working. The time at this point was 20:40.
Any ideas why it would not work?

Dave Skye: Because on Freeview it isn't operational 24 hours a day due to time-sharing capacity with other service(s).
