In comparison to other area of south Wales - cardiff and llandeilo - that I know of, monmouth has a very limited selection of digital channels. Are there any plans to extend this and when?

Post Code: NP25 5NL House Name Llan Adan

Hello, I have recently moved to The Hendre, Monmouth and am about to buy a new TV and would like to know if I would be able to receive Freeview at the above location.
Is there a test that can be done?

stephen Lewis: Whilst Digital UK suggests that reception might be possible at the postcode, narrowing it down to the house name it gives nothing. Looking at the OS map there are a lot of contour lines. Are you in a dip?

Wenvoe is 218 degrees. Does the ground go upwards in that direction?

David Hathaway: If you have an aerial, then just connecting up a cheap digibox to it is cheap and easy - a Goodmans one can be had for about £17. Admittedly it has no manual tuning, and therefore can be a right PITA to set up (I have one), but you just put a scart into the TV (or even via the aerial socket if it has no scart) and off you go.
