I've been getting some breakup on the HD for about the last week or so. Mainly happens at night, but has been happening through the day today. strength on my box hovers around 60% but drops to 0% for a fraction of a second frequently, coinciding with the break ups. I have direct line of sight to and I am just to the South of Wakefield. The last time this happened it coincided with some work going on at the end of last year, but there is apparently no work going on at present. The is on the too, and even a signal makes no difference.

@Shaun. I have found problems with coaxial similar to the symptoms you have described. Incidentally, have you fed more than one point from the same without some form of splitter?

I had a cut last night - and when turning on my box this morning I have lost BBC HD, BBC1 HD, ITV1 HD + Channel 4 HD.

Tried to retune numerous times, turn off at , reconnect etc - but to no avail.

Do you have any suggestions?

Thanks for the suggestions. I removed the from the equation, but it made no difference except signal and strength peaks dropped significantly. I also tried replacing the coax from the socket into the HD recorder with a better quality one, but again that made no difference either. As I said, it's only been happening for about the last week or so, everything was fine prior to then.

I would guess if there is no work going on, and no changes to the HD mux at at present compared to a week or two ago, then it's probably down to atmospheric conditions. Roll on in September. Thanks for the suggestions.

I have had no trouble receiving HD from . May be their as been a little slight variation in a strength, but nothing to stop me receiving all multiplexes.
