Since earlier this week we have had no reception from Mux 1 (BBC1 and BBC2). Has the power been reduce or some other change that would have caused this.

Chris: There are no changes shown for Mux1, however early on Wednesday morning (7th March 2012) the power of Mux2 and MuxA was increased to 2kW and MuxB to 1kW. This was to counteract possible interference from the new vertically polarised digital transmissions being introduced on the same frequencies at Rowridge for DSO. It is possible that your receiver is now overlooking the weaker signal on Mux1 in the face of these nearby stronger signals.

Hi KMJ,
That sounds plausible.
Do you have any recommendations as to how to resolve the issue though? I have also been unable to receive MUX1 in Reigate for the last few days...

Reigate
I've lost many of my freeview TV channels, but predominantly the BBC ones. The other ones that I do still have are saying bad signal....I'm in central Reigate. I haven't been around the last few days but I have noticed my freeview box hasn't been recording programmes for the last 4 days, presumably because the signal was so bad. I've tried re-tuning but that just resulted in more channels being lost. And I've tried changing the aerial cable.
