Am very Puzzled by Reception reports of ITV and others because for weeks new all we receive
are the BBC Channels all very good with just
a little Break up . we were receiving ITV sky News and more but stopped . BBC Channels only received for about an hour a day ? retuning
made no Difference and same another box

Farnborough G14 Area

Tony

Regarding Hanningtion, are the digital transmissions at MAXIMUM power already or will it increase after the switchover. There is no indication as to what the current power is. Some Aerial installers say yes already at full power and Retail shops say no they are not........

Whilst I can see the power in your listing it does not indicate what is is now. Thanks in advance John

John Bolton: Digital UK show the current power to be 20kW on each mux at Hannington. After switchover the PSB muxes will radiate at 50kW, the COM muxes in their final state will radiate at 25kW. This would appear to be from 18th April 2012. Prior to this date there is mention of power restrictions and two power up events for the COM muxes after DSO2.

John Bolton: I'm unsure why you can't see the figures at the top of the page with the pink background, or the "Comparison of analogue and digital signal levels" also shown?

KMJ,Derby: The current notes now correctly show that from 22 February 2012 until 4th (SDN)/18th (ArqA/ArqB) April 2012, the low power DTT antenna is used for the COM multiplexes at their old power levels.

Hi, The arial is pointing towards the Hannington transmitter rather than the Oxford transmitter. Our postcode is SN7 7EB. Reception is pretty good. Should point transmitter towards oxford?
