I had a look at the Panasonic S35 manual - the DVD player doesn't have any RF antenna sockets, let alone an RF modulator.

the signal quality from this transmitter's been dreadful now for 2+ years and the greatest frustration is there's no one to actually complain to, or so it seems.
I'm just hoping the switchover will resolve the issues and we will get ITV and C4 etc back.

We've had a simliar experience to Del (2Sep). Ever since the fire at the Oxford transmitter the signal/reception for ITV, C4, C5 etc has been non-existent.
I gave up ages ago and got FreeSat for our main TV but we still use FreeView for the bedroom so hoping switchover will 'come up trumps' and we can get all the freeview channels once DSO is complete.
Our ariel is in the loft and I've got a booster.
